Watch D.O.G.S.

Watch D.O.G.S. is a program that seeks male role models in volunteer positions here at Elmhurst.  Once enrolled as a Watch D.O.G. you can really have an integrated experience of your students educational day.  As a Watch D.O.G. you will be assigned to various classrooms to assist teachers with students, monitor hallways and breezeways, eat lunch with your student, and engage with students at recess.  Becoming a Watch D.O.G. is a great way to support Elmhurst Elementary.

WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) ProgramWATCH D.O.G.S.®  is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life.  The goal is to have these men spend at least one day a year at the school to be an extra set of eyes and ears as a positive male role model. Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . this is your chance to have a night out alone with your student in a fun atmosphere at school.
